My daughter and I visited New Bedford, with my granddaughter! I made it a point take them to Izzy’s for the sake of our Cape Verdean Culture! My father and grandmother, have deep roots there in New Bedford. The food was great, but I had to return to Echo Park, Los Angeles! Much Love From: The BRITTO’s

My fiance and I have gone here a few times and each time they knock it out of the park. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, amazing food made with love at an extremely affordable price. The family that runs this restaurant are very nice and truly care about every plate and every persons experience that walk through their door. We will continue coming back again and again. Highly recommend them for breakfast or food during any time of the day. I assure you that you won't regret choosing Izzys!!

A Great little restaurant with a Cape Verde flair. I was very pleasantly surprised at the sauce served on my steak and eggs. Quick, inexpensive and a throwback to breakfast shops and diners of my youth (again with a spicy little kick).

I never knew this place existed until someone recommended it since my go-to spot for cachupa closed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It’s a hidden gem that we will definitely visit again.

My husband found this little place right after I had my son in the hospital. The sausage egg and cheese on pancake bread is so good, it had us hooked after the first bite. We have continued to go there since then and they have never disappointed me.
